By accessing this website or placing an order, you certify that you are a qualified researcher, at least 21 years of age, and will use products solely for lawful in-vitro research in a controlled laboratory setting.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Buyer”) and Kodo Sciences LLC (“Kodo Sciences,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of kodosciences.com and your purchase of any goods or services offered by us. By accessing the site, creating an account, submitting an order, or accepting delivery of any product, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
"Products" means any peptides, proteins, amino acid derivatives, reference standards, conjugates, chemicals, reagents, and any other goods or services purchased from Kodo Sciences.
"RUO" means Research Use Only.
"COA" means Certificate of Analysis.
3.1 All Products are classified as Research Use Only (RUO) materials intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research conducted by qualified researchers in controlled settings. Products are not drugs, biologics, medical devices, or dietary supplements and have not been evaluated by the FDA or any other regulatory authority for any use other than research.
3.2 Kodo Sciences is a research chemical supplier, not a compounding pharmacy or outsourcing facility as defined under Sections 503A or 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
3.3 Products shall NOT be used for human consumption, veterinary use, food or supplement manufacturing, cosmetic formulation, diagnostic use, therapeutic use, or any use that violates applicable law.
3.4 By submitting an order, Buyer certifies they are at least 21 years of age, a qualified researcher, and will use Products solely for lawful in-vitro research purposes.
Buyer agrees to provide accurate information, maintain confidentiality of account credentials, and accept responsibility for all account activity. Kodo Sciences may refuse, suspend, or terminate any account at its sole discretion.
5.1 All orders are offers subject to acceptance by Kodo Sciences. No contract is formed until Products ship.
5.2 Prices are subject to change. Kodo Sciences may cancel orders placed at incorrect prices.
5.3 Payment is due at time of order. We accept all major credit cards, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.
5.4 Prices exclude applicable taxes. Buyer is responsible for all taxes in their jurisdiction.
6.1 Each Product is supplied with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) describing identity, purity, and quality attributes as of the date of testing.
6.2 Buyer is solely responsible for proper receipt, storage, handling, and disposal of Products. Kodo Sciences is not responsible for product degradation resulting from improper storage or handling after delivery.
Due to the nature of research compounds, Kodo Sciences does not accept returns. Orders may be cancelled prior to shipment. If there is a quality issue with your order — including purity discrepancies from published COAs — contact our team within 14 days of receipt and we will resolve the matter promptly.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KODO SCIENCES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR PRODUCTS. KODO SCIENCES’ TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Kodo Sciences LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Kodo Sciences reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
